Amidst the roaring engines and the camaraderie of fellow HOG owners, the Harley Davidson 120th Anniversary Homecoming Festival event in Milwaukee took us by surprise with a jaw-dropping sight of thousands of bikes, far beyond what we could have ever expected. The excitement multiplied as we found ourselves amidst this sea of motorcycles, all gathered to celebrate the enduring legacy of Harley Davidson. Join us as we delve into the unforgettable experience of Day One at the event, where the unexpected only added to the thrill of the adventure!
We kick off the festivities by diving straight into the Punch challenge. We visit some dealerships, starting with the legendary Uke’s Harley Davidson, a place that exudes the true spirit of Harley culture with its own collectibles museum. From there, we rev up our engines and make our way to House of Harley, stop #2 – a place already covered with vendors and motorcycle enthusiasts.
Next, we make a pit stop at the awe-inspiring Harley Museum, where we do our official check-in with H.O.G. and visit the Harley gift store, outlet and restaurant – Motor Grill.
With the threat of coming rain, we head to Veteren’s Park for an electrifying concert by none other than Green Day. The atmosphere is electrifying, and the camaraderie among fellow HOG owners is heartwarming. But what truly took our breath away was the incredible sight and sound of thousands of bikes, far beyond what we could have ever expected!
But our night doesn’t end there. True to the spirit of brotherhood among bikers, we extend a helping hand to a fellow rider who faces a broken tail light after the concert. We know the road can be unpredictable, and we believe in supporting one another in times of need.
